Preventative Actions

  • Risk assessments on all plant and chemicals in line with Australian Standard.
  • Hazardous substances management plan.
  • Noise surveys & periodic hearing testing in line with Code of Practice.
  • Safety training for every employee working on a machine.
  • Monthly consultative OH&S meetings to identify any new risk.
  • Customised ergonomic assessments for all work stations.

Readiness to Respond

  • First Aid – 1:8 ratio of St. John Ambulance trained first aid officers to general staff.
  • Fire evacuation plan & regular drill.
  • Bullying and sexual harassment policies with formal support networks in place.
