The FE Technologies Smart Library™ RFID system is an Australian state-of-the-art RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) System for libraries, which is compatible with just about all existing library data storage and transfer facilities.

Using SIP2 protocol, the Smart Library™ RFID System allows for speedy, simple and user-friendly library transactions for library staff and borrowers – including check out, check in, return, putting items on hold, stock take and daily shelf management.

An RFID System can be custom-designed to suit any sized library in any location.  Components include Self Loan Stations, Portable Scanning Units, Security Gates, Mobile Retrospective Encoder, RFID Upgrade Kit and the RFID Tags.
