Bulk Mailing & DPID

Forms Express is an accredited Australia Post Bulk Mail Partner. This scheme recognises our investment in establishing efficient and effective mail lodgement processes and offers several benefits to our customers.

Designed by Australia Post in conjunction with the Major Mail Users of Australia, Bulk Mail Partner accreditation means our lodgement processes are more streamlined, allowing for faster and more accurate turnaround of your jobs.

The lodgement process requires each tray has the necessary 300 mail pieces to qualify for a discount and is identified by a sort centre barcode. Usually, each lodgement requires specific paperwork. But as a Bulk Mail Partner, this step is eliminated.

A further customer advantage is easy reconciliation of Australia Post accounts.

Destination Point Identification (DPID) is one of the ways to save your business time and money when you have a lot of mail to send.

The DPID barcode is a unique eight-digit sorting code randomly allocated to each address maintained in Australia Post's National Address File. It comprises 16 bars of the Australia Post's Four-State barcode and contains encrypted information related to the delivery address.

The DPID is the key component of the printed barcode Australia Post uses to increase efficiency in mail sorting.

DPID coding also enables your organisation to take advantage of discount postage while providing the assurance that recipients are accurately identified and sent correct documentation.
